CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE FINANCIAL FEED AND HOW TO NAVIGATE IT?

WHAT DOES CASH FLOW MEAN?

Cash flow is the net amount of cash being transferred into and out of your budget or checking account over time.

HOW CAN I MANAGE MORE THAN ONE ACCOUNT?

You can add another account in the Settings menu and selecting Add account.

HOW IS MY SPENDING/BUDGET DATA PROTECTED?

Green does not collect or share any of your spending/budget data. All of your data is stored locally on your device. You can also enable a PIN code lock in the settings menu. When the lock is enabled you can only access the app with a PIN or Touch ID.

HOW CAN I CREATE MY OWN CATEGORY?

You can create your own category in the Settings menu and selecting Add category.

MY BILL OR INCOME IS VARIABLE! HOW DO I ENTER IT IN THE APP?

Determine how much you’ve spent or received over the past few months and use the average. For income it is best to enter a lower amount and be surprised when it’s more. For bills, it’s better to enter a higher amount and smile when it’s lower. Don’t worry about entering the wrong amount because you will adjust it to the correct amount when you clear the transaction from the Pending section. These budget items can be updated anytime by tapping on the transaction in the Next 30 Days section or the Budget section in the settings.

HOW CAN I EDIT A RECURRING TRANSACTION, LIKE RENT OR INCOME?

You can update any budget item by tapping the transaction in the Next 30 Days section of the Budget section in the settings. This will allow you to make any changes you need to.

SHOULD I ENTER SPENDING SUCH AS GROCERIES AS A RECURRING EXPENSES?

Yes! Enter in all of the expenses you know will occur. This will help in forecasting balance changes for the next year.
